Default Joey Tomatos Fishing Charters

I had a Tuna charter to go out tonight. We would of went to the Bacardi But i just didn't feel right. There was a threat of thunderstorms and it was going to be a first time Tuna trip, for them. There was five and a nice charter. But if it was rough it would of been their last. I just didn't feel right. So it was on again off again. Finally I said it was off. they were disappointed but I just had something telling me not to go. I hope I made the right decision? There is always a next time? I have a small open boat tomorrow that I booked after I decided not to do the Tuna trip. Lets see what happens. Captain Joe

A center console can get small out there real quick. Nothing wrong with calling it.

I had some work done on my boat last week there was a couple of wire harness issues. Didn't fish for a couple of days so yesterday I took the boat out and did some bottom fishing and some Fluke fishing. Took a couple of friends an a couple paying open boat customers. We slammed them. Seems like the ling are back, because we are catching them in areas that just didn't have them, also some nice Sea Bass and enough Fluke keepers to end the day with a lot of meat. The best we didn't have to go far!!!!!
But the reason I replied to this post is my premonition was correct. When I went to back into the dock at the marina my Starboard engine prop did not engage. The shift cable broke. I guess when they worked on the out drives they loosened something because the cable slipped off. So I might of been out 80 miles with only one engine to come back with. And had 5 people that paid for the charter that would of never of went again. I hate to think that I had a feeling that something was wrong and I was right because if this is true I am going to start concertrating on the lottery.
