Default Decent Crabbing on Barnegat Bay

Rented in Seaside and hit the water around 9ish. I used mostly hand lines baited with chicken backs. The north wind made things a little difficult but we wound up with 24 nice sized males. Ate some last night and they were packed with meat. 5 hours on that bay is always fun.

Good to see a crabbing report. I'm definitely getting the itch.

From what I hear from some locals it's been a good crabbing year so far down there.

Went down Saturday to SeaSide area had 26 and water was milky. Been a good year. Always a plus when able to make crab gravy.

Yes sir . 26 is perfect for crab sauce. I forgive you for calling it gravy by the way.
