i hit one of my old spots after work today the place has alot of weeds so i went with a 4" creme scoundrel natural color texas rigged and caught 3 bass and one big sunnie.the bass were 5,7and 16".the bigger bass had a big head and smaller body i've seen that alot lately.its strange with all the stuff they can eat in there crayfish, frogs, minnows and all.there must be alot of competition for food.also seen a decent size snapping turtle.

Sounds like a productive quick trip. Must be post spawning pressure or too many fish, not Enuff big predators/ppl. I keep seeing the fatties.
What's a creme scoundrel? |
