![]() I fished on the only 8 hour boat out of Cape May today, which is usually a 9 hour trip. The bucktailers collectively put on a clinic over the Old Grounds' cobble fields. Fishing midships with plenty of room, I had 2 20" keepers, 7 shorts, 2 out-of-season seabass, and 1 ling. Two guys had their limit and the pool fish was ~6 lbs. I caught most of my fish on a chartreuse 6 oz Bucktail Boys jig with a stinger hook tipped with a strip bait. It's a good boat with a great captain (who was super frustated today), and good mates.

![]() Captain Paul is THE MAN. He gives 100% everyday. I love his fishing knowledge. He knows that whole south jersey coast like the back of his hand.

![]() I measure all party boat captains against Paul. Goes above and beyond in all phases of the game to produce, every trip. Doesn't matter if there is 10 fares or 60.
