Bass report 6/7
After a long wait due to busy schedules, finally got a chance to take the boat out with my dad and brother this morning. Pushed off at 0500, made bait and headed to where the action's been. We managed to pick a beautiful 29# bass within seconds of the bait hitting the water. After some maneuvering and looking, we found a nice school of bass crashing just before the tide change. Managed to go 9 for 12 before they quit on the slack. We kept one for the table, the smallest one at 25#. 4 whole, freshly eaten bunker in the stomach during cleaning. These girls are hungry!
The heave was still there a little, but not bad at all. Beautiful June NJ Striper fishing. Pictured is my little bro with a nice 36# girl, healthily released.
