Default night escapades

I think my sleep is more screwed up now than it was during the peak night bite haha. haven't been taking many pictures but plenty of walleye have been coming up, mine have mostly been 20-22" but i lost something big on a line snap way up the braid...i think i might have a little nick in the tip guide that i never noticed

The hybrid striper night bite seems WAY off...can't seem to get any big ones, but rob snapped a quick pic of an average sized one i caught that smashed a super spook which is always fun. guess i'm going to have to try the early morning bite for them now.

changed it up species wise for a little night bite bass action yesterday. It was not meant to be the way we pictured it as we threw an assortment of top water and sub surface lures for hours with only 2 hook ups between 3 guys and both fish escaping. Fortunately, after the moon lit up the sky we got a decent bite bottom dragging small swimbaits...total opposite of what you'd expect for a night bite! nothing huge caught, but a couple of nice acrobatic smallies up to 17". glad we didn't just leave when they weren't cooperating! sometimes you just have to force yourself on them!

this picture is what happens when you don't sleep at night and sleep randomly for 1-3 hours at a time throughout the week...and don't mind the crotch shot.

Great colors and pattern on that Smallie!!! Sounds like good times to me! As long as your fishing and catching something every trip, ITS ALL GOOD! Had a nick in one of my rod tip eyes 2 years ago! It did epic damage to my 10 lb braid! Lost a bunch of fish and lures before I even realized!!!!!

nice smallmouth and that wiper is not to shabby at all.i wonder why the big swipers are not hitting, with all the boat traffic and the hot days you would figure the big ones would feed at night when it's quite and olny the vampires are fishing for themit's time to check those tips and replace if needed.you don't want that to cost you a nice fish

it already cost me a good fish!!! going to take a piece of thin thread and rub it on all the guides to check including the reel guide. It's possible the line got damaged another way but i pulled out a casts worth of line and cut it off already too. It's not that old, but who knows i'll have to inspect it better.
