Today we had the Ed Waterson party out for a day of stripe bass fishing. We left the dock at 0600 hrs. We made a left out of the Inlet heading North in heavy fog as thick as pea soup. We got to the grounds, and had good readings, so we put the trolling sticks out and went to work. After 20 minutes, we hooked up with our first Bass. We continued to plow the area and was able to get another Bass within the hour. The tide went slack and shut off the bite, and we didn't get anything further. So, we worked our way back to the inlet, and it was still foggy. We ended the day with two Bass, and the guys were pretty happy. They fished hard but the Bass had lock jaw and wouldn't bite.
