![]() Thursday Report
The Jamaica will not be sailing Friday morning. We are scheduled to sail Saturday morning and Sunday for stripers depending on the weather. Right now it's looking better as they are calling for North winds inshore. You can call the office between noon and 4 p.m. Friday to check on our schedule for the weekend. The Jamaica sailed today. We were the only Striped Bass boat that sailed out of our area. We covered a lot of ocean looking for stripers. We finally found some near the end of the trip right outside our inlet. When we stopped on the school we lost a couple of larger fish, caught a couple of shorts and caught one keeper. We were not able to tell if one type of lure was working better than the other but we had a bite on just about everything. The Pool winner: Ayla Scott, from northern Kentucky, caught a 14lb striper on a large Tsunami. Others were hooked on a Casting Joe, Gold Croc and A-47 Jigs.
