Default Prowler5 - Sat., April 2nd Bass Report

Hey gang, I just got a call from the boys and they're out on the bass grounds. Way far up in the back where they caught the fish yesterday. They said the birds are not up, just a couple of the trollers catching some shorts, nothing happening just yet. They are out with 14 anglers, not bad for this rainy Saturday. I'll give a follow up report later this afternoon. P.S. Next bass trip will be sometime toward the end of the week. We'll keep you updated. Thx., Capt. Scott

Well, here's the follow up report. The boys are on their way in. They did not have the bird life that was out there yesterday in the far back on the Jersey side. But, Capt. Glenn said, the small boats that were trolling caught the stripped bass. That was the way to go today. Capt. Glenn said they boated two short stripped bass back there and lost a keeper at the boat. They finished the day at Keansburg and put another bass in the boat. Unfortunately, it was another short. Anyway, it is encouraging that there is stripped bass around this early in the season. Looks like it's going to be very windy tomorrow and cold during the week. So our next two stripped bass trips will be Sat. April 9th and Sun. April 10th. Thx., Capt. Scott, Prowler5.
