Hey Scrubby. I could be wrong but the spring has not been real popular for boats targeting blackfish last several springs as many choose to fish for Stripers.

I remember years past Easter used to be the kick off and a lot of boats used to targeted them.

Hope you get your itched scratched and this year should be great.. Mild winter and no snow run off to worry about.

Yea Gerry I kind of figured most boats would be gearing up for stripers but I thought maybe with the mild winter we had some boats would target them. Especially early and you're right it's been three months I am definatly itching.

Last few years the bite wasn't until the end of April.

I think this years water temps might make it a great month.

I'm sure the ocean explorer will be targeting them. Give them a call or better a text & Bobby will get back to you. Great blackfish boat great crew & he puts you on the meat.
