Default Post-Work Prespawn Bass

After I clocked out I swung by Spring Lake for a couple hours to see if I could score my first largemouth of the season. I started out hot, getting 3 bites in about 20 minutes. After that, nothing. All fish were fat and healthy, the biggest being around 3 pounds. Lots of other anglers out enjoying the mild evening.

Nice Job. I got out this morning to sub-freezing temps had to wear the ice fishing gear on the boat. The shallow lake wasn't as warm as I had hoped only 48. I did manage to catch my first keeper of the year though!

Fish released for others to enjoy
