Default Spring striped bass

I always say the beginning of stripers season usually begins to flurry when the peep frogs start chirping. Tonight is the first night I hear them. Almost here guys. Can't wait to get a line wet. Maybe hit the beach a few times before we splash the boat, then it's trolling and bunker time...enjoy the upcoming season.

Was on the beach in Keansburg today for about an hour today, Bunker everywhere, some kind of smaller bait fish in the deeper water, Birds going down on them. Some small stripers fining near shore but no luck.

Right, tons of Bunker in the bay and outgoing water temp was 52 deg by the creeks in Raritan Bay. Time to bottom paint!

Heading down to Tuckerton/AC this weekend. Can anyone recommend any areas to give Stripers a shot for an hour or two? Doubt I will have a lot of time but I figure it has to be a little warmer down there and worth a shot.

Gravling Point - Tuckerton

The ride down 7 bridges is worth the time in Tuckerton. Its pretty scenic

Mullica river or stop by the power plant either on the way down or back.
No real reports yet but these are the early season southern spots
