Default Quickie Session

After striking out on Saturday, catching only a wind burn on Sunday and reading Bunker Dunker's post I just had to give it another shot ahead of the incoming weather.

Made great time getting home and got to the spot with about 25 minutes of sunshine left. Man I do love the tranquility of the lake this time of year.

Fished into the early evening and landed my first perch of the year on chartreuse micro grubs. No takers on the left over ice fishing shiners.

Finished the session going 3 for 5. All fish released to hopefully create the next generation.

Was cool to watch the leading edge of the front creep over the lake.

Long range weather looks amazing and I hoping to get the boat in the slip by mid-march. Thank you El Nino!

I got in about 40 minutes of fishing yesterday in a local pond by me, coming up with nothing, but was nice to have a fishing pole in my hand... A little cooler weather coming in the next couple day's, but after that, I saw a string of high 60's and 70's..... YEA BABY!!!
