Makes you wonder what the commercial guy was saving his anchor for don't it?

The Coasties were Johnny on the spot for this guy.

The USCG 25' SAFE BOAT is not supposed to leave port in large sea conditions? Must have been calmed down.

Looks like the Comm boat is in 3-4 feet of water. I guess they had no life raft or gumby suits to get in the last 50 feet.

Sad the coasties had to risk their lives for a petty rescue like this. That boat will be in the surf all summer unless salvaged. Hardly at risk. While the USCG's coming to them were. Frankly running up on a beach is not a mayday.
