![]() Sunday morning, we headed out north of Shark River Inlet and it was a tough day. There was bird life, plenty of bait and we occasionally read fish, however, not one boat in the entire fleet caught a fish. It looks like the striped based and blue fish season is over. With that said, we will not be sailing again until the mackerel show up. If you have any questions in the interim, please feel free to give us a call at (732) 681-0030 or (732) 681-6866.
Get your hoodies and zip up sweatshirts now! We have them in black, light grey and hunter green. We also have ladies, tank tops in hot pink and black, embroidered hats in coal, taupe, dijon and flamingo. Miss Belmar t-shirts are in both long and short sleeves in black, indigo blue, white, charcoal grey and light grey for adults. In youth sizes we have pink, white and black t-shirts. To purchase, please give us a call at (732) 681-0030, or get yours on the boat. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why. ![]() We would like to thank everyone for your patronage in 2015 and wish you all a healthy, happy and prosperous new year! Captain Alan Shinn and crew

![]() It's hard to say. The Sunday prior no one caught fish either. We hope we have a mackerel season, too. We just have to wait and see.

![]() Captain based on yesterday's post "Bass and bluefish blitz" it sounds like the season isn't over just yet. Maybe the fleet had a bad day as sometimes fish get lockjaw but from the sounds of that post looks to be a healthy body of fish still milling around.

![]() Captain sorry for the confusion I wasn't suggesting you made the post, I was simply referencing a post titled "Bass and Bluefish blitz" which someone posted yesterday in the saltwater forum. Just pointing out for everyone's sake that there was a sizable surf blitz Monday over a large area consisting of on average large fish including a few over 50 lbs. Doesn't appear the season is over just yet!
