Default Friday togging

Today I took one of my regular group of guys and Steve Yu out on a non sponsor boat togging since I pulled my boat last week. We had a one stop shop set up off shore. Conditions were far from perfect but the boys picked away all day with many shorts and a tally of 25 keepers. Steve Yu once again put on a clinic of how to catch tog on a spinning rod and 2 oz. of lead. Hermit crabs were his bait of choice. Seemed like white leggers were second on the menu followed up by greenies. Tony caught a 26" cod on a hermit crab. And a few porgies were landed also. My boat is on dry dock for the winter. But I will be running weekday trips on 32' Downeaster docked in Leonardo. Call me for dates.
