FISH STIX - 11/22 Blackfish Boat Limit

11/22 Open boat crew of 6 Njfishers. Much nicer ocean today finally. Fishing was a little slow to start, but then they started to chew for a bit. Had a tough time sitting tight on the anchors for a few but eventually it was good. Picked at fish the whole time with some boring moments at times. Bill and George each had 14 keepers, Kurtis and Tom had a dozen each, Bob caught a limit+ and Dale... He's still figuring it out.. Lol. Anyway it was pretty good fishing for a while. Tom and George lost a few TRUE slobs. Busted em right off. Toms rod bent at the reel. But that's what keeps us coming back! The guys ended the day with 62 keepers, only keeping our limit of 48.

Way to put the boys on some fish Kris. Atta boy georgie- if the jets can't win al least you can catch some fish.....but ya gotta stop the biggens and get'em in the boat. Bill, good to hear ya had a good day. Tight lines my friends.

My Jets well lets just say reality is hitting them in the face and they need to just play some damn winning football. How about run the ball , maybe catch the ball and letting a rookie QB put up numbers like that ??? Really ???Seriously, but the funny thing is they are right in the middle of the wild card and I fully expect them to screw it up -

First time on the Fish Stix and I will definitely be back (IF allowed), Great Captain who loves his blackfishing , Mate Darren/Daryl/Bob/Frank will answer to anything-, great crew nice to meet Bill, KurtisB (Again) , Dale , Tom, Bob and the rest of the crew .

You always remember one that got away and this one I set the hook and started to bring him off the bottom, then he peels some more drag , get him off the bottom again , this happened a couple of times then this pig really gets pissed and says bah-bye, just peels drag and goes in the rocks and breaks the line at the hook. It was my bad , didn't have the drag set right on the avet

I personally had a great day with suicidal toggies, lost a couple of pigs and it was just great catching some in 50 degree weather most of the day , a little windy but great weather for blackfishing.

Nice report. Many Tog are lost from loose lever drags.
Most Tog sharpies use star drags and lock em up real tight..
