Default Unsafe fishing...to say the least....

I was out saturday with my cousin and friends to go back out into the action. Lots of life and bass busting everywhere and the typical mayhem of boats mugging and racing to catch these fish...usual story....we did great all morning...boating over 20 vicious little bass....ha....then i saw something i never thought id see...this big double decker "leisure boat" (sorry unsure of the make of it)...passes 20 ft off our bow with a man jigging in front and two rods trolling in back....we holler over a few choice words as we were alone at this point and he had all the room in the world to pass and then im looking....no ones driving the boat! And from what i saw the wheelhouse was on the upper deck! This man was trolling two rods...jigging on the bow aimed at the heavy boat traffic just ahead of us! And he was alone! I decided to be an ass for once and give him a wakeup...i flipped out my jig and snagged his trolling line and held on for over 100yds before he could make it to the stern. I yelled over to wake up and drive the boat! For the rest of the day i saw him trolling not leaving his wheelhouse. Sry if anyone thinks i was wrong but on a boat like that...alone....you cant fish the bow..be underway at trolling speed and troll at the same time...extremely unsafe...and with the amount of boats out there...just plain stupidity..just my opinion

Total stupidity!

If I recall people were killed a few years ago by an owner (won't use the word capt.) had boat on auto pilot running down the beach and he plowed over a small boat. I think he was eventually charged with man slaughter. He was not on the bridge of his vessel

I was anchored on Romer last year ago without another boat for 1/2 mile in all directions. Some A-brain trolled into my anchor line and slid under my bow. While I was screaming expletives at him, he said "I only left the wheel for a little while".
WTF?

To be honest i cant get over this guy.....i really cant....when you go take your boaters course they should have a long common sense questionaire...to bad i couldnt get a free bunkerspoon outa my expierience...i was winning the battle but wire beats 25lb leader...oh well....hope that guy enjoys my jig and gets a clue...have fun out there everyone! Courtesy and common sense catches fish! Ohhh by the way i had better luck outside the birdlife with white shads being the flavor of the day....and rattletraps second on the menu

There is going to be more and more of this with drug laws being relaxed. The guy was probably as high as a kite and thinking he could steer the boat leaning one way or the other.
