![]() Had an open trip today with some old friends from the board Jeff, Larry, Pete, Andrew and Sister Dot as well as our regular Bill.
Left early. Got into the bunker down the line - they were weird with the heave and boat traffic didn't help. First pod we had 5 bites, no hook ups. Moved a bit further away, found more bait, and in one drift we boxed 5 or 6 nice ones and dropped a few more. At one point we had 4 on at a time. But THAT WAS IT. After that we ran around fishing the bunker, pulling spoons and even shad rigs, and didn't even get a sniff the rest of the day. We got very lucky this morning with that one drift - nice job for the crew for working together and fighting those fish. Great crew, fun day, but fishing was slow compared to the rest of the week. Thanks again for the eggs Jeff! |

![]() I wish our "blitz" lasted longer than it did, but at least we got into some fish. It sounds like we did better than most, especially with all the boat traffic.
It was fun watching Sister Dot whup that big 'un!

![]() Nice job Allen. I think you deciding to get there early had more to do with your producing on a tough day then the luck.
