Saturday morning, fishing was slower than it has been. We continued fishing north east of our inlet. We read fish but they were scattered out along the bottom. We were able to pick away on all drifts and had shots of them. We still caught blues up to 17 lbs, along with some nice sea bass mixed in. Our pool winner was Andrew Moody from Shamong NJ with a 17 lb blue.

Sunday morning, we mainly fished on the beach catching nice blues along with some stripers mixed in. We kept a few stripers and threw back over a couple dozen. Overall, it was a great day of angling with plenty of bird life, readings and action. The blues were up to 18 lbs. A nice fall run is starting here on the beach.

This morning, we fished on the beach just above shark river inlet. We had nice long drifts and some lasted over an hour. The fish were paved on the bottom and we caught all big blues from 12-17 lbs with a few stripers mixed in.
