Dorothy B Sunday: even the bass had the blues
The monster blues ruled the day, big slobs up to 19 lbs and it put the kabosh on the bass fishing. One big chopper spit up a baseball sized chunk of striped bass when it hit the deck. It was the anal fin section of the bass and I estimate it was a 24-26 inch sized fish it came from. Frickin' savage bluefish!
The action was good but no keeper bass for us today, unfortunately. I guess it's hard to catch stripers when they are on the menu! Back at it in the AM. Thanks to a great crew today!
