AM- Our open boat this morning started off a little slow. We eventually came across some jig fish and the the guys were able to land 2 keepers and around 20-25 shorts. Once th jig fishing fishing died, we picked away the rest of the day on some quality fish. Ended the day landing 9 keepers sized fish to 24 lbs (only keeping legal limit and around 25-30 shorts.
PM- Our afternoon trip today started out great. Came across bass blowing bunkers out of the water right away. The guys went to work right away with the artificals landing 7 keeper sized fish to around 18 lbs and around 20 shorts. The action only lasted so long so we went looking. Found another patch of jig fish eventually and landed 1 more keeper and around 15 shorts. Finished up the afternoon trolling and landed 2 more keepers around 15 lbs before calling it an evening. Ended the trip landing 10 keeper sized fish (only keeping limit) and around 35 shorts.
