Default Dorothy B: the shame of internet fishing

Let's just say that the bass fishing has been off this season so far but today was October 18th. It was breezy, cold and crisp and none of the Striper boats got out from our harbor. I can't help but believe there were a bunch of guys who trolled the reports of this and other sites and decided to stay home. Well, guess what? They bit today. From what I can tell it wasn't the best ever but limits were caught and those guys that said "screw it, I'm going anyway!" were rewarded.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Don't read the report. BE the report.

It's FISHING, guys. You don't get a home run every trip but you gotta step up to the plate.

Water temp is 62 and dropping fast...

I agree.Look at the reports and a little rain and people cancel.Instant reports mean you had to be there .Go when you can because everyday is different.Quite a few open boats get screwed every week. I guess a true charter is a thing of the past.
