Default Salmon river...

Headed up to Pulaski Wednesday morning for a few days. I heard the fish are finally starting to run. Has anyone been up recently? Also, any trout being caught? Thanks for any input

John

Everything up until sportsman pool has a more than average chance to produce.

Everything after, including both of the fly zones is hit or miss.

With more rain on horizon you should be getting into some fish no problem.

But as the fish starts moving, you know how the place becomes. Get ready for some frustration.

Thank you. We usually fish the ball park and staircase. I'm hoping after the holiday there will be less ppl.

Actually was able to get up there yesterday. Fished the town pool all day again. Plenty of kings, cohos and steelies going around, a lot more hookups than last weekend for sure. Saw no signs of any brown trout though, but I bet they're still around. Have a friend up there now, I'll get in touch with him to see how he did. I know he fished the trestle with less than average results yesterday but I'd imagine the fish will be moving that way very shortly.
