This morning, we tried jigging for blues and stripers for about two hours on the beach north of our inlet. There were plenty of bunkers on the beach today and we were able to snag them, but we never had any luck with the stripers on the beach. We caught just a few small blues and little weak fish. We finished the day offshore anchoring up jigging big blues anywhere from 15-20 lbs. Ava 47’s worked the best. Our pool winning blue was caught by John Zappella from Westfield, NJ.
