Default Bass & dragonflies...

Don't know what it is about dragonflies bass like but they certainly get after them. Pond I fished the other day had bass breaking the water about ever 2-3 minutes chasing the numerous dragonflies flying over - and egg laying in - the water. They were ignoring anything I threw at them so I ran back to my car and grabbed my fly rod. I tried pretty much every popper I had to no avail. i did however get a few nice sunnies and crappie - a species I had no idea was even in the pond! Anyhow I need to figure this out because they were some big fish in this pond. Maybe order a dragonfly pattern but they are not cheap(About $8 a fly )

I tie my flies including dragon flies.
For dragon flies, I sometimes buy parachute flies and add gossamer wings (you can buy these films).
