The people on board worked real hard today to put some keepers in the coolers. Mike the plumber from Brick had 4 keepers and a fluke around 6 pounds for the pool. A young blond haired lad around 6 or 7 had 2 keepers all by himself. Some only had shorts today. Check the pictures for how flat calm it was. A little wind in the right direction would have put a lot more fish in the buckets. We had a whale swimming around the boat for a while.

7:30 sailing to morrow and no galley till Saturday.

Tuff day out there today again for myself I usually come away with one or two but oooof-aaaa and it was hot. Threw just about everything I had as far as spro's,gulp and bait- nadda, zip, zero, and nothing but a handfull of shorts .I did have 2 nice hits that I missed , one didn't set the hook and fish spit the jig near the surface and the other just friggin googaned the hookset . Not my day be any means and not selling and burning everything this week but wow I brought sucking to a whole new level of , super-dooper , oober-boober, mega googan lame-o at least I am pissed.

Cant blame the Captain he tried a whole bunch of different spots in the bay and even the mates were nice . Big Joe was nice again 2 weeks in a row ???? ( Must be the vacation???) and little Joey is starting to slack a little bit , as he is getting older he is starting to turn into his father ( we must do something about that one) but you can only fight genetics so much.
