Default Italy->Lillian->Glory->Chicken

Did a midshore troll starting at Little Italy where we had clean green water. Moved east to the Lillian where the water turned clear blue. Had a huge mako breach on my back line and circle back for swipe #2. The water between the Lillian and north glory hole seemed to deteriorate a bit until the flats on the south eastern side where three scallop boats were working. Water there was 78 and clear blue - pots had zero life on em. Saw huge schools of flying fish but no tuna or mahi. Worked through the glory hole to the northern part of the chicken and while the water was beautiful, didn't get a touch. Flat calm ocean but empty cooler.

Well that sucks but thanks for the report. Beats working....

This time last year the mudhole fishing was much better. Hopefully it will improve soon because I'm really looking forward to getting out there.

A good friend of mine was out last Friday at the Bacardi had a few yellowfins up to 40 on the troll and had several bluefins on the jig all over 60 inches not a bad day trip
