Blackfish in July
Hey gents,
With July 17 just around the corner, I was wondering what type of boats/trips it would be best to go on to get myself a tog? Seems like most of the bottom fishin boats target ling now correct? Are there tog being brought up from the ling grounds? Even though it's only one fish, I would love to bring a two dozen or so crabs to catch that one blackfish. Thank you for the suggestions

Yesterday we had a few that would have been keepers on the Paramount. I personally would not take any of the females they are full of Roe right now. It's your choice but I feel your killing the future by taking them now. If your not sure about the females you can ask the mates or the captain they can advise which is which.

If it eats Green Crabs it's a Blackfish. If it hates Blackfisherman it's the NMFS.
