Default Sandy Hook Fluke 6/20

As we came over the Highlands bridge, the ocean looked a bit too mean for the trip South on the Petty Cash for Sea bass. Blowing 25 E is not for me. Talk about a snotty day. Made the best of it with my boys and switched to Fluke. Everyone was tucked in behind the hook. The wind provided a nice drift and a good pick. Plenty of short shorts some 17s and the keepers all quality 20+ fish. Glad there were some fish right where we needed them to be. Almost called it quits when the rain started steady but fished through it for a few more keepers. Nothing on the Spros today. Got em all on the trailer with small bait and gulp. I think the anchovies are in as I can see them flashing over by the dock. Hopefully that food source will pull more fish into the bay. Lets hope the fluking continues to build some strength.

Way to go bud. Quality fish there. I went solo today and took four. Fishing is still very tough.

A near limit isnt a bad day Bro. Today turned out to be pretty nice. Glad to see you did well. I still think the fishing will keep getting better.
