Default Just could not find 'em

We tried like heck. Put a new 4 blade prop/new pitch on the engine to see what she would do and responded beautifully. RPM's much better and more power from the hole shot on. Headed North but ran into the fog bank(no radar...yet) so we set up on troll with the spoon and umbrella rig trailing, N.S.E.W, nadda. Could not get into the bait and couldn't find a bite for our lives/ Spent a while on troll and called it a day, Happy to see how the prop performed and got some rays while we were cruising around. Hopefully we'll find them this coming weekend....That's fishing. Jim on Marie's Dream, thanks for reaching out today. Hope you did well!

I know how that feels. At least you got out. I spent the afternoon cleaning the DS. Full of piled sticks and oak strings

Didn't cover it last week and it looked like it hadn't been touched in two years

Cleaned it and put the cover on so I'm ready for opening day

See you out there!

Good to see the boats running well Mike. The Raritan bay was full of blues today. I'm gonna need to stock up on some of your Bucktails soon. They are sweet

25+ odd blues at the end of the day, we quit counting at 25. Got them trolling, clamming, chunking, throwing poppers, tossing metal....they ate everything and they were all in the 10+ lbs range.

Not a bass to be seen.

Had a great day and my arms are sore this morning.

Good connecting with you.

That's a good day by the current standards Jim! Dang fog just wouldn't lift! Held us back and didn't want to risk continuing up w/o the radar.

There was a little fog in the bay at 7:30 when we launched out of AHMM, but it wasn't bad. It was pretty hazy all day.

It was definitely a great day.

Jim
