![]() Hello All,
Our yearly Coast Guard inspection went well and we been out a few trips since We stuck with the bottomfishing as there has been no numbers of stripes in our area of ocean as of yet... We been looking every trip but its been blues blues blues with an occasional bass trolled The last couple trips finally started to see the life closer to the beach. Ling pushing to their inshore grounds and should only get better as the month goes on. Of course Lots of Blacks are now hungry as well as big seabass lots of short cod with some keepers mixed in and a couple of winter flounder. Unfortunately the season is closed on both blackfish n seabass... Frustrating but There was lots of action and enough ling n cod to send everyone home with some fillets Plenty of blues but we havent found any bass oceanside yet although it should b any day now. We will b ling fishing and looking for the bass and blues until seabass opens. Then it will b seabassin daily and livelining bunker for bass every afternoon. Thanks guys! Good Seeing the Seabass showing up inshore... even had some double headers all had to b returned for now but im coming back for everyone of them in couple weeks! Will b posting our Open boat Seabass Schedule ( 8 or 9 dates) for June in the Open Boat Forum . These are some of the best trips of the year besides the seabass we often see a whole days worth of stripers in the am b4 or after seabass along with the usual bycatch of ling cod n flounder. DONT MISS OUT! These will likely b our last open boat availability thru the mid Sept. Thanks All

![]() Jerry....is our Conger eel charter still on for June?
If they are late to show up, Im ok if we have to switch to snowshoe flounder and bottlenose dolphin like we did last year! I still have a couple bottlenose filets in the freezer, and when I sauté them with young sea lion like you told me to, the results are beyond gourmet! JJ |
