Default Birthday, where to go fishing!

Hey guys,

I'm turning the big 26 on Saturday, and I finally took a vacation day Monday to get some much needed fishing in. I'm scanning the reports and it seems the bass bite is somewhat decent, only issue is I just don't enjoy catching bass from a boat, I'm a straight surf and jetty rat. I was thinking what would be a good land based option? I could also suck it up and hit a boat for cod.

Advise would be welcomed!

Best,

mr.whalefart

I fished with you on the Mimi. Plan to go this Friday with Kenny, he has few open blackfish dates. Gold luck.

Drive down at 3 am. Fish the sands for a few hours. If ots productive stay at it, if not hit a bay boat.
If you do the boat get off and hit the sands again and fish into the dark.
Oh yea... have a birthday beer or two... or three.
good luck
