Thumbs up Monday.... Work or Fish???

I faced a major decision this morning when I woke up.. So instead of heading to work like the masses I decided on the obvious.. A short commute to "Da Spot" only produced 1 flag, but well worth it... This little fella played "flag and go seek" but was hooked after the 3rd attempt.. Good crappie bite as well to pass the time.. No big slabs, but there aren't any at work either.. Enjoy some Monday Porn..

Another nice looking fish from da "POINT"! Way to get out there and whack em my friend. Healthy fish without a doubt. Any other anglers in sight? It seems most have given up already.

Nicely done.

I wish I had some choice between work and fishing but it looks like work always wins on Mondays.

Well I think you made the right decision Mike!!!
And ALL YA NEEDED WAS ONE!!!!!!!
Beautiful fish man, I would have traded you all three of my Pickerel (Even my PB) for that Pike!!!!
Last year I missed a few and the one that did take it I was too far from the flag to get it and I told Rocco to grab it and it was a 38"er!!!
I have caught several in Spruce but none bigger than 29"es!!!!
Even had one that was hooked last year actually jump into my boat, landed on the deck and then jumped right back out into the water and snapped the line!!!!
CONGRATS!!!!!

Thumbs up Re: Monday.... Work or Fish???

Wow Dale.. Lucky he didn't jump in the boat and clamp onto some skin.. You gotta swing by again soon and get in on some of the action!!! I'll PM you my number.. Hit me up, I don't need much arm twisting to go fishing.. The grill is always hot and the beer is always cold!!

you make me want to use some sick days! nice job, work is for suckers! haha

I pulled a pike into my lap in my kayak a few years back (my first kayak pike) I'll never do that again. that thing slime slapped me a few times and whacked my pliers into the depths. and that was only a 30 incher haha.
