Ice Fishing Safety Gear is a must to have when ice fishing

Few ice fishing safety gear items I feel that should always be carried with your ice fishing gear. Hopefully you will never need to use them for an ice rescue. Boat coushion is nice to sit on top of 5 gal bucket.
#1 Floating boat cushion.
#2 50' feet of rope, can be attached to boat cushion.
#3 ice Picks kept attached to outside of jacket
#4 cell phone.

Have fun, remember no ice is ever safe ice.

Wearing a PFD under your jacket isn't such a bad idea. And the extra layer will keep you warm.
