First post (and trout pics)

Hey all,this is my first time posting on here. I began trout fishing in may of this year. I Am 22 with degrees in biology and anesthesia. I have had a blast fishing for these fine little creatures. My dad fished all his life, took me awhile to pickup the interest and get started with him, but I am glad I finally did. SO I figured I would post some pics of some cool rainbows I caught this fall and winter. Some caught on flies, some spinning. I have really enjoyed both styles of fishing, depending what I am in the mood for and how tired and cranky I am from working in the city all week. Enjoy! .

Ive caught many of my smaller ones in the Black River, Bigger ones came out of the Pequest in October. Only managed 4 brown trout since May in the SBR, they were all smaller wild ones about 8-10" tops. Every single other fish Ive caught has been a rainbow lol.

I've had a lot of fun in smaller trout streams catching and releasing them. I do my share of eating from the put & take areas. But it's a kick ass feeling getting a native, doing zero harm , and seeing it swim off happy as a clam. Cool stuff for sure!
