Backwater bassin 11/5
Hit the water for a little while today to see what was lurking. Managed to bag some nice Stripers from 26-32 inches off the banks. Lost a bruiser at my feet that shot the plug back at me and almost got stuck in my damn head. If it wasn't for my Notre Dame hat I would've been in the hospital with all kinds of piercings hanging from my round head, LOL. All fish released to swim another day. All fish caught on a variety of plugs although most fish were short there were a few keepers in the mix. Bite faded rapidly as the gigantic ugly moon showed its cheesy face. Lots of fun on the 7ft medium St. Croix Triumph. Go get em!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!

i'm trying to figure out where all those big black rocks were in the second post only to realize you "burned the spot" in photoshop so as to not "burn the spot", hahahaah!!!!

Sorry about the blackout fellaz but the spot is wayyyyyy to obvious if your familiar with NJ! The fish are there and there's still plenty of time to catch em. TIGHT LINEZ!!!
