Party boat Angler Friday report and update
We had a fair amount of guys show up for some bottom fishing before this blow. The wind was a little more than forecast but nice on anchor. Fishing was good for most with more porgy than sea bass. Those with small hooks, lite leaders and small baits did best. I found the bite to be more subtle and delicate than a normal porgy bite but once tuned in it was fast fishing.
Ed Ecock from Staten Island had the pool with a nice sea bass. No tog today and only one short cod. 7;00 am Tuesday will be our next trip. this will give the NW wind a chance to calm the ocean. This has been a tough fall so far. Thanks captain George
