Fish Monger II Tues 10/28 Seabass Limit ( 11 man ) Well back at it today... ocean was a Lil cranky to start. Looked for some stripers in the am but they didnt wanna chew yet. Headed to the grizzle for seabass... No great bite.... just pick n pluck. Quality w was pretty good but ya only get a little blast everywhere n that was it...pesky dogfish made there first appearance once ya fished a spot for a Lil while they would find ya n ya had to move on. Found some better life n size on some small stuff but same deal hit n run type bite. The box didnt come easy... the crew fished hard all day... long day and alot of spots but by days end the guys managed there 11 man limit of 165 seabass. Crew was a blast thanks again guys!!!
Good amount of fish around! So far every trip we sailed since seabass opened we managed a limit. Some days easier than others but atleast we are out fishing n catching. Stripers starting to show up locally now so we will mix in jigging from here on out when they pop up. Gotta love the fall...Great time of the year to get out fishing. Capt. Jerry
