Canyon Tuna - Sunday 5PM - Good fishing Friday night
Another good trip in the Canyon!
The weatherman was wrong again and it turned out to be a nice night in the canyon. Tuna fishing was good again. It was slow early in the night with just a few bites and one big sword that "got away". At 4am the tuna turned on and we had good shots with as many as 5 on at a time. Jigs and bait both produced fish today. Rob Finkle from Sparta NJ caught 3 tuna, Mike Ardalino from Brooklyn NY jigged 3 tuna and a big blue shark. A number of other anglers caught 2 or 3 tuna each. We canceled the trip for Saturday night due to the weather but it looks good for the Sunday night trip and there is still space available. We also have space available on trips sailing 7am on Tuesday and Thursday and 5pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. For information call 732 528 5014. Photos at our Facebook page.
