Default Kid fishing?

Kids are off of school tomorrow. Want to take my 6 yr old fishing. He would be happy with small blues.*
Im up north so anything as south as sea bright is good.
Back bay, rivers, or just go out front?
Any advice?
Thx.

Afraid he is to small for that. On land he can throw rocks and run around and be a kid. If we dont catch on land so be it but on a boat he is stuck and not sure on the sea legs on him yet.
Few more years and he will not have a choice.

Thumbs up Re: Kid fishing?

They are catching is seaside. See john at Betty and Nicks and tell him you want the kid to catch some fish. Go up the street from there and sit on the beach with a few poles in the water. No boats no closed in feeling. Bring some sand toys and a cooler as a diversion.

Smile Re: Kid fishing?

You might try the Keyport pier. Haven't seen many reports though.
