porgy fishing
Went out for porgies, and boy oh boy was it off. This time last year we killed the porgies every trip! We were in my buddies 15 foot aluminum, so we were very limited on where we can fish. Fished in the back bay all day long for 7 keeper porgies, 3 throw backs and 2 tiny seabass for 3 guys. Heard of a good bite out front, but i wasn't risking run! What i am surprised by is the lack of spot and croakers in the back bay areas, haven't seen any so far this year.
