Default Reservoir Stripers 9/28

Headed out for some stripes w Dale and got on the water around 830ish. Started a 6 rod spread trolling herring and had a slow stead pick of fish all day. Lots of marks and bait but the warm front and glass water made it tougher than it shoulda been early morning, but we hammered them regardless. Stayed til around lunchtime when we ran outta bait, we even got one last fish on the way in with a dead herring on a single planer board line. All fish caught in 5-15fow on boards except 1 fish @ 21ft down on a snap weight rig. The water temps started 66ish and ended at 68-69, but the fish have their spunk back and fought like beasts, got me very pumped for the next few weeks on my home waters......enjoy the porn, Dale even smiles in a few pics!! hahaha

*NOTE* If the gentelman running the white alumacraft with the name "hybrid hunter" on the side is reading this, please have a little more courtesy for fellow fisherman in the future. I have no problem telling you how Im catching my fish and what Im doing and why, just PM me here. Ive had quite a few yahoos do dumb stuff on LH this year, but trolling right along side me 10ft away after CROSSING OVER my spread of boards to eyeball my fish and equipment asking question is just stupid and rude......I guess u keep hunting, and Ill keep catching......BTW I'm available as a professional guide and I do "in your boat" also

LOL - That's just the way it is here in New Jersey. Any amount of success at all is noticed and some people will rush over in an attempt to snatch a piece of your success. Some people just act on a lack-of-boundaries and a sense-of-entitlement to have what you have. I guess it's a product of living in this over-crowded rat race state.

I had a group of kayak anglers snuggle up right along side me when I caught a few nice bass this weekend. I took a picture of the crowd that gathered around me to show people why I get frustrated out on the water. I decided not to post it here because the kids may recognize themselves and spot-burn me on the forum. Then the bucket-crowd will converge on the pond and take all the bass home, so I just keep my mouth shut.

Dammit Jimmy....I was just trying to show you my new boat, then you get all rude and chit, wrapping your lines around my propeller, scratching my new paint with those planer boards. Show a little respect next time!

Can't wait till the M&G!

Jim
