Paramount Monday Marathon

Only seaweed and snappers at the dock this morning. We went out with a decent sized crowd. We stopped inshore but most of the rudderfish were gone. We released many 14"-18" sea bass and caught a few big triggerfish. Then we went out deep and did very well with the ling on almost every stop. A few flounder and small keeper cod were caught, but ling dominated and some were big ones in the 3-4lb range.

I wound up with a triggerfish, a big flounder, a 22" cod and 69 ling. Big Bass Jim won the pool with a 4 1/2lb triggerfish and he had 38 ling to go with them until he started helping the crew clean fish. Regular Don from Toms River had 46 ling. A 83yo father and his adult son from Maryland had 88 ling combined. Lots of people had 35-45 ling today.

Trigger, cod and flounder all in the same dinner. A first for me, but very tasty.
