Default Sat morning quickie

Only had a couple hours so fished local. SHR with everyone else. Keeper short ratio? 50:1 I'd say. While conditions existed it was drop and reel on 14"-17" fish. Had a couple "right on the line" that went back and kept one for dinner tonight at 23".

Drifting off the beach when it got dicey a guy flagged me down. Anchored, Out of gas, no phone, no VHF...and no seatow policy. I called my boatUS for him but they could only help him if they spoke to him. Last option was the coast guard. Gave them the coordinates and his situation. They ask if he has any medical conditions. I remind them of his lack of effort prepping his vessel and suggest his medical condition is all mental. Their response? "ROGER THAT!"

Awesome!!

Nice when the wind laid down. When they were honking against the outgoing...not so much.
