A lot of the Bluefish Head boats have been getting them. I would check to see if they are chunking & not jigging ahead of time. If your on a chunk bite & you can get some fresh spearing your chances are good for a hookup. I love catching them this way. I'm thinking about going next week it's been years since I got a Bonito.

A NS out of PP is still targeting them close by but those are the 1-3lb bones swimming with the pee wee blues. If you want the real ones they are still a bit off shore and you'll need to hop on a six pack until they get closer. One of them had some real nice pics of big bonito and a skippy.
