I use Gamakatsu shiner hooks for bait fishing (prefer the ones with the upturned eye) and Gamakatsu bait holder hook for my gulp top teaser on the bucktail. Don't know the sizes off the top of my head sorry.

We have fished Reel Seat Custom Coil jigs, up to 4 oz, with 6" Gulp grubs for two seasons with very good success. We also place a 4 inch Gulp minnow on a 3/0 Gamakatsu bait holder, 12 inches above the jig on a dropper loop. Fish hit both hooks.

3/0-5/0 octopus hooks. Throw all those English/Kahle aka "fluke" hooks in the garbage. They are a relic from the past and should no longer be used by anyone.

And here come the critics in 3...2...1...
