This morning, we had decent fishing. It was better than it has been the past couple of days. We fished northeast on the hills and picked around the boat. At times we had 6-8 on. We had action all around the boat catching 8-16 lb blues on both bait and jigs. Rob from Brooklyn, NY was our pool winner with a 16 lb blue.

KIDS FISH FREE!!! We would like to thank all of our loyal patrons and let all kids, 14 and under, fish for free on the Miss Belmar Princess now through Friday, September 5th, 2014, when accompanied by a full paying adult. Lets let them have some fun before they have to go back to school. This is valid on both the day and night trip weekdays only. Weekends not included.

this is one of those rare times when I think the captains report understates the days fishing. we had action almost from the getgo and when the anchor was being pulled to go home there were fish waiting to be gaffed. Personally landed a dozen of these big fish and lost(my specialty) way more than that as they wanted the bait but hooking them was another matter. You did have to catch them but lots of great action, really good day. back at it next week
