Miss Belmar - BIG BLUE SLAUGHTER ALL WEEKEND LONG!

The BIG BLUES have arrived! Saturday and Sunday morning, we fished east of Shark River inlet and the bite was on! We started catching monster blues between 8-15 lbs all around the boat. They were hungry and taking both bait and jigs during the day and bait at night. It was a full on slaughter with non-stop action all weekend long. This is what we have been waiting for all summer long so come on down while the fishing is red hot!

Friday night, we had very good fishing east of the inlet. The big blues have returned at night and all the fish were between 8- 12 pounds. Yuri Folvar from Freehold, NJ won the pool with a 12 pound blue.

Saturday night, we had super fishing again east of the inlet as everybody caught their fair share of fish. We started the picking at some smaller fish but it did not take long for the big boys to show up and take over. Once it got good, it stayed that way all night and the fish ranged anywhere from 8 - 15 pounds. We also caught a nice 10 lb Mahi Mahi as well! Mike Fischer from Mendham, NJ won the pool with a 15 lb blue!
