Default Reel Class Reports 7/29-7/30

Sorry for the delay in reports been very busy!

Tuesday 7/29: Had the boys from the SWABC aboard for a fluke trip. Fished the rough stuff all day but the bite for us was NG. Loads of shorts, just 5 fish in the box all day long Got news the bite was turning on around 3PM but we were pulling into the slip lol

Weds 7/30: Ran 2 half-day trips today.

AM: Had Mike's crew on. Jigged the blues, mackerel, and a frigate mackerel out to our NE. Readings were insane, catching wasn't nearly as good as what we saw but the guys still caught a load. When they had enough we ran inshore to fish the rough stuff and picked up a few nice seabass and 2 nice tog to 17". Highlight of this trip was Mike battling a ~50# cownose ray on my yellow noodle stick - broke it off after around 15 minutes but it was cool.

PM: Had Chris's crew on for this one. Decided to bottom fish locally. Loads of short seabass, but enough nice keepers to keep it interesting. Got the guys their limit of bass with lots of the keepers in the 2-3# range. Also had a couple of ling, a short Pollock, and 2 jumbo silver eels.

Nice day of fishing, back to the fluke tomorrow.

**We still have room FRIDAY FOR FLUKE and SUNDAY/MONDAY FOR Mahi/Bottom Fishing**
